April shack I don’t think it’s necessarily a fair chance to others. More likely they are worried that if you give somebody a 21 day consecutive days ticket then do not let them in could be considered breach of contract. I’m sure there is a clause about park capacity but that is a bit different to reservation system.
As for other countries do they have tickets like our 14 and 21 day? I thought they were pretty unique to UK and Ireland? Of course whilst in EU rest of the EU had access, much to the annoyance of Disney. They do everything they can to be able to make offers in 1 country and only that country. Especially true of DLP.
it's unique to the UK and Ireland.
the rest of the world used to be able to buy it up until 2 years ago, when they limited it to the UK/Ireland only.
If you buy a package holiday, then the EU can also buy the tickets as part of the package.
But the EU can't buy the ticket on its own.
So it's not really unique to the UK/Ireland, since many people buy the package holidays.
For example, we purchased a holiday which included the 21 day ticket.
In fact, when we purchased the holiday, Disney actually permitted not just the EU to buy it, but the rest of the world as well.
We're in Israel, and i bought the holiday direct from Disney on the phone.
This was back in 2017. As of 2018, they stopped selling it to the rest of the world, but continued to sell packages to the EU.
Bottom line, if you're only buying tickets, then it's limited to UK/Ireland.
If you're buying a holiday package, then the UK/Ireland ultimate tickets are included. UK/Ireland and EU can buy the holiday packages.
I read on a UK website that the 21 day ticket is gone for 2021.
And he had heard that the 7/14 day tickets would also be gone during the 50th celebration (end of september through the end of the year).
But i don't know if that last part is true. He said it was. A UK fan website.
by the way, in case you're wondering how i buy UK tickets, it's because my company is located in the UK. So i'm able to buy the tickets, when they're available that is.
