Do we need Magic Bands for everyone in the group?

I asked in the "Tips" forum but didn't get a response. We are a family of 4 and staying off site. Would we all need magic bands, if we went that route or can I just buy 2 for the kids and the adults hold on to their tickets? Trying to save a couple of bucks wherever I can.

No one has to have magic band.

If you bought Memory Maker, a magic band comes in handy because your ride photos will be automatically added to your account. Otherwise, there's no real reason to buy them at all

Yes, that is why I wanted to buy them. But I figured only some of us needed them. So, if the account is in my name, would it be ok for me to buy a magic band for myself or would all of us need to get one? Maybe only the account holder can get one so I can add those photos to our Memory Maker?
