We are going in March Break, and they have shows at 1pm and 4pm.
We have never seen the show, and knowing it will end on April 2nd, we would love to see it this time.

We are family of 4. Do we need to FP it for the 1pm show? What does the FP get you? A designated seating area or just don't need to arrive way early?

If we don't FP it, how much earlier do we need to arrive for a decent spot?

No - place is huge and everywhere is pretty decent as you're up high watching car chases over a very large staging area. That being said, it takes a long time just to file in and get to your seats. I'd get there 20 minutes or so before the show time.

can't think of any reason why anybody would need FP for this - the theater is huge. as noted, I wouldn't get there too late though.

Agree with the above posters - no reason at all to get an FP for it. Just get there in time to get in and grab seats. Stage right (or on the left if you're looking at the stage) will avoid some of that hot sun in the afternoon.

Agree no need for FP and hugely agree with it taking a long time to file in to seats so definitely allow enough time. My plan was to go to the show after leaving the Frozen Sing A Long....I had no idea how long it would take to enter. We got held at one point so I thought no biggie they just haven't let anyone in yet then when we finally made our way along the seating as instructed almost every seat was taken. My family and I did get to sit together but I was behind a beam. It was fine, it was my first time seeing it but as long as my children could see then I was fine with the stinkin' pole/beam.

Anyway, definitely allow some extra time to make sure you can enter comfortable. The second we sat down the show started which was wayyyy to close for comfort for me who usually gets everywhere wayyyy earlier than necessary.

Thanks for the replies. They are really helpful!!

Another question is: Is the seating area covered? (Trying to avoid the hot sun)

Parts of it. In the afternoon, the left part of the seating is usually protected, and from about halfway up the stands is almost always in the shade.
