Do We Need A Category 4?

Family of 4...DD's are 10 and 8.

Love my kids, but they absolutely do NOT sleep well in the same bed

Do we need a category 4 family suite or can we get by with a category 5 or 6?

Any advice is appreciated!

A 6 would be fine. Only reason you'd NEED a category 4 would be you were a family of 5 who wanted to be in one room. The category 6 for 4 people has the large bed for parents, a single sleeper sofa for one and an upper bed(almost like bunks) for the other child.

You could go down to even a Cat 9 - as long as you don't want the verandah. The beds are "bunk" like in that the sofa turns over (it's the coolest thing ever per my kids) into one bed and the upper bunk comes out of the ceiling. There is a weight limit on the upper bunk but it's about 160-180 so I have a feeling you'll be ok there too.

We cruised in a Cat 6 the first time and liked the verandah, but didn't LOVE it. We booked a Cat 9 the 2nd cruise and I was a bit worried at only having a window. But boy, *what* a window. It was perfect and we honestly didn't miss the verandah at all. We spend very little time in the room - the first cruise the kids napped some, but rather than be on the verandah, we slept too (lol). The 2nd cruise, we were there to change and sleep and that was about it. We take the savings from a Cat 6 to a Cat 9 and use it for "fun" on the cruise!

My DDs are 7 and 9 and we were fine in a CAT 10, the cabins from 10 to 5 are all the same size the difference are windows and balconies. The beds for the kids are great, one drop from the ceiling, and the other one is the sofa that turns over, they are both a regular twin mattress and are very confortable....

Must have the Verandah so the adults can sit outside and have a cocktail once the kids go to sleep!
