My family of 5 and I are staying at the Poly :goodvibes -the day after arrival we are going to SeaWorld. (This will be our first time to SW) We are on Disney's DP and to try and save some $$ :thumbsup2 thought we would eat breakfast before we head out. We were planning on catching the Lynx from TTC.

Here is my worry-I can get a 740am Kona ressie (should take around an hour to eat??)-SW opens at 9am that day. Of course we would like to be there as soon as the open as possible. I did see that CM has a 7am opening, but think it would be way to much to do characters prior to a full day at SW. We could take a cab to SW if need be.

What do you think? Do Kona and then get a cab? Or scrap the ressie and get to SW prior to 9am?? :confused3

TIA,
Jen

I would probably eat CS at Captain Cook's on that day since you have the public bus to deal with and the longer transportation time. Save Kona for a day when you are going somewhere closer - like MK. I love Kona breakfast, though.

If you are planning on dining @ Sea World that day, you may want to eat a light b-fast then take advantage of the eat-all-day deal @ Sea World. Believe it's around $30 PP and you can eat at a number of their restaurants throughout the day.

Being at SeaWorld for opening is not as key as being at a Disney Park for Rope Drop. SW is much less busy and is more about the shows. They do have a hand full of rides but we found that Journey to Atlantis was a walk on for us to do 3x in a row in April. I believe that shows at SW don't usually start until after 10am and majority not until after 11am. SW is a beautiful and relaxing park - I love to take a day to do it each trip. I noticed that you are on the DDP so you are probably not going to want to do the SW DP but it is awesome - you can have as much to eat and drink as you want all day. I was very impressed with the SW DP.

I think that you could do your Kona breakfast at the time you want and if you get to SW by 9:30am - you will be able to see and do all you want at SW. Have a great vacation. :dance3:

I wouldn't do Kona pressed for time, esp since this is your first visit to SW. And with three kids I dunno about you but I always feel (and end up being) as though I'm running late for one thing or another! Me, I'd be under too much stress to go to kona, rush through BF then try to make it over to SW in time to make sure we'd get everything in for the day. It'd ruin the experience that is Kona lol..

CM I've never been so I'm not sure how long that whole process takes. I'd keep trying to see if you could get an earlier Kona ressie. Either that or schedule it for another day. Getting QS for BF that day there could be an option as well.

I'd do cs and then off to TTC for the Lynx bus, its a 30+ minute ride on public transportation. Takes a while! Be sure to have exact change for bus ;)
have a great time!
