Do we have a confirmed answer for grocery/prime delivery??

We are about a month away from our trip and would like to know the answer. I saw it on here but there are so many conflicting reposts! I am specifically wondering about Amazon Prime and Garden Grocer. Are they charging at resorts for either of these services?

Can I tack on that I'm waiting for a confirmed answer on strollers (especially if you ordered a case of water with your stroller.)

The Disney site does state "Please note that a $5 per package handling fee may apply to all packages that are received through the Front Desk or are delivered to your Disney Resort hotel room."

However reports have been this is only being tested at the All Stars and I haven't actually read about anyone being charged the fee. Some reports are also that it would only apply to packages not groceries, but that is unconfirmed.

This is a trial that is only happening at the Values for now. Prime and Garden Grocer deliveries are currently not subject to the surcharge.

I called Guest Services Saturday night, because we have a Garden Grocer order pending for our January trip just to make sure. No fee for Garden Grocer deliveries, but I was told if a package is shipped to the resort via a shipping carrier than the fee will be applied on a per box basis.

We use Garden Grocer every single trip and I've never had a resort surcharge. I can't say enough good things about GG, their customer service is outstanding.

When was your last Garden Grocer delivery? The $5/package fee is Brand New

And additionally, if you are shipping a package to a resort with a convention center (like the Yacht and Beach Club, for example) by UPS or FedEx there will be a weight-based pickup fee charged. You also have to personally retrieve the item from the shipping center.

A guest who had sent a package to the front desk of the resort a couple of weeks ago by USPS was NOT charged the $5 fee.

As others have said, it does not appear that the $5 fee referenced has been applied to Garden Grocer or other deliveries, just packages mailed to the front desk of (select) resorts.
