Do we dare?

Hello all! My family and I are heading to Florida next week. As of right now, we have Universal Studios penciled in for Wednesday the 18th. I know the media/VIP event for Diagon Alley is the 17th through the 20th. I'm curious - how busy will it be at US? My family and I have no desire to see Diagon Alley, but we do want to see everything else on the US side (IoA seems too adventurous for us). Do we dare, or should we plan something else that day? Thanks!!

If you are going to only the other attractions you should be fine unless it is the grand opening day. I was at the WwOHP on the Monday after it opened and nearly everyone was either in the world or standing in line to get in. The other rides were less busy but it might be difficult to navigate around lines/crowds around the park
