Do US/IOA still offer the upgrade to 21 days pass if you have 14

Last time we went in 2007 we bought 14 days US/IOA tickets. When we got there to use them for the first time they offered us the option of upgrading them to 21 days. We didn't as we were only there for 2 weeks.

This year when we go I have again bought 14 day tickets as we are staying there for the first 4 nights so it would have been ideal. My parents are now coming over to see us for our last week (we are there for 3) and we have agreed to go back to IOA with them to do WWOHP. Trouble is if we use our pass on our first day - it won't be valid on the day we go with them. I have planned to have a rest day the first day and NOT go in either IOA or US even though they are on the doorstep.

However, DH doesn't think he can be that close to Hogwarts without being able to go in and see!!!

What a pickle!

It would be great if they did the upgrade for a small fee? If not, does anybody know if there is a reduced rate if you say go in the park after 5pm or something???

Never heard of a 21 day Universal ticket so done a bit of Googling, looks like the 5 park Flex ticket used to be valid for 21 days but now changed to 14 days.
Looks like max you can get now with any ticket is 14 days unless anyone has managed any different.

Only solution I can think of is annual passses but if you are not going back year after year they are expensive, 1st year about £160pp, renewal £108

Thanks Wayne.

Guess DH is just going to have to wait!! I've pacified him slightly by booking him a round of golf at Metro West!!!
