We are staying at The Dream Castle Hotel next week for 4 nights.

If i sent them a very nice, polite email requesting a room with a nice view, do u think they will be able to help?

It is also my daughters birthday, and if i asked them if it would be at all possible for them to put balloons in our room for my daughter?
Do you think its asking too much?

Im wondering what they would think if i requested these 2 things in a Email.
I will put all our booking details on the email and will be very friendly and polite :rotfl: :rotfl:

What do you think? Have any of you done this before?

It's worth a go, the ballons may be a long shot unless they have a service like that on site already.

But if you don't ask you don't get

Give it a whirl :woohoo:

I know people have done similar things with the onsite hotels. It's definitely worth a try. If they won't put balloons in your room, you could always hide a special gift under her pillow for her to find. You could leave something small for her each day when you get back and pretend that each one is from a different character - that way it might be easier to get her to go back to the hotel after a day in the parks!:goodvibes

I love that Idea :thumbsup2

Thanks, i will give it a go, i have sent the Email, so will let you know what they say when they reply.
Im not sure if they will agree to balloons cus the Dream Castle Hotel actually offer a Birthday package of:

*Birthday Cake
*Balloons
*Card
*Small gift

I cant remember the price but it was quite pricey and i dont really want the other things, only balloons as she will be having a Birthday cake in Cafe Mickey and im taking cards and gifts.

You could call them Sara?

The telephone number for the Dream Castle is 0033 164 179000

I called the Santa Fe about a week before we went, to ask for adjoining rooms in a quiet block. The CM I spoke to was very nice indeed, spoke English, and said it would be no problem.

Thanks for your reply and the phone number :goodvibes
Do you think calling them is better than sending a Email ???
If so i will definately give them a call :thumbsup2

I would think that they would just charge you for the balloons since they offer a package.

It will not have hurt to ask for a nice room view, but since it is off-site I wonder what a nice room view comprises :)

I know it wont be as good view as a onsite hotel, but im hoping they will perhaps be able to give us a view at back or front of hotel... so view of Dream Castle back or front gardens.
Who knows! See what they can do... I suspose its not really important as im sure we wont be spending all day looking out the window :rotfl: but it will be nice if they can do it for us.

That makes sense. Did not know that the hotel had gardens. Fingers crossed for you :)

I am very impressed :thumbsup2

Dream Castle Hotel responded to my Email the same day! :woohoo:

Good News: They said that they have made a note on my reservation for a garden view (but depends on availability)

And they can put balloons in our room... but for 20 euros which needs to be Pre-Paid! I think this is quite expensive!
So i will stick to buying a Giant Minnie Balloon from the village and put her presents and birthday cards in our room instead.

:yay:

Fingers crossed you get your garden view Sara :)

Fingers crossed for you and here's some pixiedust: to help.

The four off-sites all back round a lake which gives a much nicer view than their respective car parks although let's face it, you won't be spending much time in your room with Disney beckoning!

Fingers crossed for your garden view.

I think 20 euros is a little pricy for some balloons tbh
