Do u think a towncar would wait 4 an 11hr delayed flight from UK?

Well I just want to say publically a big thanks to *FL Tours*.

We left UK nervous as we had an 11 hr delay. We were flying to Sanford and we did not land until past midnight. By the time we got our luggage and got through customs it was 12:45 am. We walked through the doors and there was our driver with our name on board. It was such a relief ! He told us he had actually been at the air port for 5 hours waiting.

We have been to WDW 6 times now and this was the 1st time using FL Tours. We will definatly use them again. They even called our resort the day before returning to confirm details.

Usually what they do is check the flight arrivals online and see if there are delays and plan to arrive when the flight does. I'm surprised he would sit at the airport for 5 hours. Flight arrivals and departures change all the time in FL with the weather especially in the summer. I'm glad he was there.

I had a similar experience with FL Tours. Two years ago when we had the northeastern blackout, we were scheduled to fly to Disney the day after. The airport barely had electricity, no ac and we waited over 12 hours, but our flight finally took off when most were cancelled. There was no phone service. We arrived at MCO around 2:30am and there was FL TOURS waiting. Andy had no idea if I was on the flight or not since we couldn't communicate. I will always and forever use and recommend FL TOURS. They're topnotch!

I would expect any reputable towncar company would monitor the updated flight information and would either be waiting for me or would arrange for another driver to cover the trip.

I'd expect the customer to call the towncar company if they change the flight or decide not to make the trip. Don't assume the driver won't be there just because the flight is delayed. Be polite and call if you're flight information changes.

I did not have an experience like yours, but I have used FL Tours in the past and have been very happy with them. It's nice to read such a positive post.
