I am trying to decide which insurance to use for my cruise + 4 nights at Boardwalk in May. In light of the current environment I definetly want insurance. Anybody have experiences with the Disney insurance they offer versus any other?

Thanks in advance for your help.

We don't have any past experience with the travel insurance, but we recently purchased insurance for our upcoming trip because it is too close to our year-end date. If we had to cancel our 425-point vacation at the last minute, we would only have 4 weeks to use the points in our use year. So, we thought it would be wise to have insurance on this trip.

We used the Disney insurance for our cruise which I believe is really through another company. I thought it was very reasonable for the coverage it provided -even lost luggage. It gave us a real piece of mind since we were traveling with a 5 month old. Be sure to purchase it way in advance - I believe they tell you how many days.

I would really like to read the FINE print!

I wonder what exclusions they have in the policy?

The major Ins. co.'s are now adding, exclusions of war, terrorism, etc.

I'm sure if you just canc. because you are "afraid to fly", will they allow that?

I would like to get a copy of the entire policy....before I would purchase any Ins. policy...

Buyer beware....

Most insurances will not cover you if you decide it is too scary to go. However, with a 5 month old it probably does make sense since it would cover illness of a immediate family member. I have never purchased it since it is just me and most of my trips are fairly short so there are not a LOT of points involved.
