Do they use Bob's Redmill AP gluten free flour?

Just realized that I cannot have beans at all as they cause massive stomach upset. Do the allergy free waffles at Disney contain the Bob's Redmill AP gf flour? I hope not since it contains garbanzo and fava bean flour. Does anyone know for certain? I can handle the Bob's gf pancake mix fine, it doesn't use beans. I've heard they use Namaste but that it varies by restaurant. Thanks.

Things really do vary by location. I believe that everywhere we've gotten waffles has used either the Bob's pancake/waffle mix or the Namaste mix or a combination of the two but you'll need to ask at each location to be sure.

Oh good! So they use either the Bob's pancake/waffle or Namaste then? Perfect. I can't stomach the Bob's All Purpose, it the beans! Who puts beans in a flour blend anyway.

We are gluten free and the waffles seem to vary by location. At Pop we had Bobs Red Mill mixed with Namaste (I assume it will be the same when we visit AoA because Chef Dan moved over there and he was incharge of the waffles). At Ohanas they also said that they used a Namaste mix but I am not sure if that meant mixed with other flours or not. Crystal Palace and Akershus both did not offer housemade waffles or pancakes but di doffer Kinnikinnik and Udis mussfins and bagels.

Hope this helps! Have a great trip!

Thank you! Hmm, so at Pop they use Bob's? Was it the pancake/waffle mix, not the all purpose flour?

Crystal Palace offers different waffles/pancakes then? Like the frozen ones? I love the Udi's muffins and bagels. The Kinnikinnik are ok but the pea protein they use makes my stomach upset.

Thanks for the info!:thumbsup2

Thanks for asking this. DD is corn free as well as gluten free so it makes it harder for us. I know Bob's Red Mill is ok but I hadn't heard of Namaste. I googled it and it is safe also.

The Namaste mix is so yummy! You can get them at Amazon. We use it at home and prefer it over the Bob's pancake one. Bisquick makes a good one too, I'm pretty sure it's corn free as well.:)

I can just echo what everyone else has said. They vary on what mixes they use. I know Kona cafe uses the Bob's Red Mill (I believe pancake mix), oil, and rice milk. Last time I was at Kouzzina they used Namaste but they normally use Bob's Red Mill. I was just at Landscape of Flavors this weekend and Chef Dan was there! He did use that Namaste / Bob's Red Mill mix. I think the mix is always the pancake mix, but I can't confirm that to 100%.

Thank you!:) I hope it's the Bob's Redmill pancake mix. I would imagine it is since it's simpler to use rather than add all the extra stuff to the all purpose flour. I personally love the Namaste, it makes lighter and more delicious tasting pancakes.

This is a sad, sad day for me though. I just checked Babycakes website and they use that garbanzo/fava bean flour for their baked goods! I could cry, ok not really but I'm disappointed.:worried:
