I know IASW is a divisive ride and not everyone's favorite but I rode it a lot with DD on our trips when she was little and my DH took DS on rides she couldn't go on and she absolutely loved IASW. When we were there I was shocked that the gift shop didn't have any dolls because I totally would have shelled out for one. Her birthday is right before we leave so I was thinking of giving her a coupon for something at the shops. She loves "buying" things herself when we have any coupons or gift cards. Does IASW now have any dolls?

Don't know what they have in the parks, but a few years ago they sold a really cute line in Disney Stores. If you don't find one in the parks, I'd look for the others on Ebay.

They were part of the Animators Studio line, so that might help track them down.
If I had anywhere to put them, I would have bought them, but there was no room at the inn. I thought they were adorable.

They totally were, and there were a TON of different ones. It would have been hard to choose!

I have 7 of these. My wife and family are planning on keeping 2 but we have 5 or 6 of these I'm thinking of selling. They are so cute and sing "the" song!!!

Marie Osmond's doll line used to sell some you can probably find them on ebay now. And although it is not a doll Jim Shore has a small world figurine collection that might be sold at the parks?

The Jim shore collection is sold in the Disney store at down town Disney. You buy a base then you buy the dolls separately. You place them on the base and the doll sings it's a small world in there language. The dolls are made from the usual Jim shore material a wooden stone look that looks carved. The dolls mouths do not move as the music is played. We purchased a set in July for a present.
It has surprised me at Christmas time that there is such a missed opportunity with no Christmas it's a small world merchandise with lights on it.
