Do they sell Disney dollars at the resorts?

One of our relatives gave us money for our son for our disney trip - they would have gotten Disney dollars but there is not a disney store nearby and we do not have time to order them by mail before our trip and they dont sell them online. We are staying at the Pop Century. We want to get him Disney dollars with the money so it is his special money - do they sell them at the resort? If not, where can we get them? THANKS

Sorry, I don't have an answer for you. I was just wondering, what are Disney dollars? If you don't use them on your vacation, are they good in the Disney stores?

I think that they only sell the disney gift cards. If I am wrong, hopefully someone will come by and correct me.

I just read that you can get Disney Dollars in the theme parks, at any disney store, by mail through Disneyland (plus a $10 handling fee), or you can get them off ebay (which charges more than face value).

Both gift card and disney dollars can be used at a Disney Store if you have some left over!

You can definately get them at Disney World. I know for sure they have them at Guest Relations in the parks. I bet most of the shops have some in their registers as people use them to pay all the time. Maybe you could call the front desk of the hotel you will be at (I'm assuming you'll be on property) and ask that they have the amount you need at check in.
