Do they really check age ID at show tapings

We would love to see the taping of a show such as 2 1/2 men or George Lopez but my daughter is not old enough, she is however 5' 8" tall and could pass for 18 any day and she certainly acts mature and is quiet and well behaved, do they really check ID for everyone who enters (maybe for security purposes) or if everyone looks old enough do they allow you in?

we have been to the Jay Leno show twice and I did not see them check ID's. I did not see anyone who looked very young though. I guess it is worth a shot. How old is she?

We saw George Lopez on September 15th, and they did check my daughter's ID, and they asked her her age. She's 16. We all had to show ID (they showed their school ID), and we had to go through Security a couple of times.

I don't know if they do this every time, but they did ask us when we went.

There were a couple of younger kids in the audience, but they were former neighbors of George Lopez, so they had special permission.
