How far out before your trip did you get the booklet?

For my first trip last year, it was about a month before my trip, but I believe they just started the booklets around that time. The last 3 trips I've received them about a month or two after booking, and I generally book around 7 months out.

But you don't need the booklet for your dates. You should get reminders on your MDE account.

I feel silly for asking since I should be able to figure it out ony own....where on my MDE account can I findy dates for booking ADRs and FP+?

When you log in, it will tell you how many days you have left to go. You can book ADRs at 180 days and FP+ at 60 days. You should also receive a reminder e-mail from Disney, but I find it's usually later in the day after the booking opens.

We received the booklet with magnet for our May 2014 trip and our November 2015 trip, first well before 60 days out, this trip before our 180 days.

We booked our pkg stay for Oct 15 in Sept 14, we got he magnet. My bff booked her Oct 15 pkg (we are going together) in May 15 and she did not get a magnet.

We booked in April for our November trip. No magnets here, either.

It's something they did for awhe. And from reading, as far as I know, they haven't sent them in months. They seem to have stopped it.

We went last November for Thanksgiving, the Incredibles book included the count down magnet. Booked again for this November, received the same book but no magnet. The countsown thing is still on the last page, it looks the same but just isn't a magnet. It is perforated and comes out of the last page so I tacked it up on my cork board at work.

I've only gotten booklet as of late with last page being important dates to remember. I usually get mine with a month of booking/changing resort

No magnet for us we have a November trip that's been booked since March.

When we booked our last trip (May 2015) we got a magnet in the mail. It had Dumbo on it, and gave the exact date we could make ADRs and FP+.

Is this something they always do? I keep wondering if I will get the magnet again, and when! I know I can book ADRs at the end of October so I assume if they are sending the magnet, it will be soon!?

I got a magnet for our November trip last year, but the friend who was coming to WDW with DH and I (she had a separate MDE, different hotel, different flight, etc) did not receive one. DH and I are return visitors, she hadn't been to WDW in 15 years, both hotels were room only reservations as we were using the Armed Forces Salute tickets. As far as we could tell there was no rhyme or reason as to why we got a Dumbo magnet and she did not.

Yes Ive got one the last like 5-6 trips. They're kinda neat. I to am a AP so sometimes they don't send us stuff. But these I have gotten, think the first one I got was last fall

It seems as though certain people get certain "extras"...I've never received a magnet.

I received The Incredibles booklet with important dates to remember (180+10 ADRs, FP+, etc).

My parents who are traveling with us but staying at a separate resort received The Incredibles booklet but also received the cool flash drive thing with the short video of Edna. We didn't get one of those. Both of us booked via rented DVC points.

The magnet was really cute. We got one last year and I was so disappointed when we didn't get one this year. The tear-out Dumbo page just wasn't the same. Sometimes it's the littlest things that help make the magic.

Got the booklet for our Nov 2014 trip. Got the same booklet after booking this years trip, no magnet. The magnet included important dates to remember before your trip.. That was just a regular page in the booklet this time. So I wouldn't count on getting a magnet.
