Men that is. What is it that allows them to open a cabinet, but not close it? Pull something out that they use for 5 seconds but not put it back? Open a drawer, but forget how to close it?
And why, why, why is it that they never want to use the stove until it has been thoroughly scrubbed down and has a shine to it? Is there a special gene that keeps them from being able to pull the shower curtain closed after using the shower?
Or is my man just special? :confused3

What???????????? You mean were supposed to close cabinet, put away something we've used (even if only for 5 minutes), clean the stove, and close the shower curtain? Why don't women ever tell us these things? How are we supposed to know that? We aren't mindreaders, ya know! :rotfl:

Did you not hear any of your wedding vows? :sad2:

So THAT was my ex's problem?! We weren't married. If I had known...

Well, see, I'm not married. I could only get married in Massachussettes ;)

Oh no. There are DEFINATELY Guy Genes! They get handed out in the womb. They are like Levis or Wranglers but they have BIG holes in them! My DH and DS BOTH have really ratty Guy Genes!

Those are the same Genes that cause hearing loss when a football game is on TV. And they cause direction impairment on a trip in the car. They really are nasty but I'm not sure if they can be removed to be washed or repaired. If anyone knows how to fix them, maybe they can pass along instructions!

:rotfl:

My mom, sister and I developed a theory years ago that in fact it is a gene that causes all the behaviors you just described. It is called the "male stupid gene" and it kicks in between the ages of 10-12.
In addition to those things that you mentioned, it is the same gene that causes pre-teen boys and grown men alike to flock to the edges of high bridges and spit over the sides.
Next lesson: The Female Mall Muscle.

This must be the same gene that prevents Dh from flushing the toilet.....

Oh, Good Lord, I can only imagine what your drawers look like.

That is no excuse, Mister.

OMG! I even put a picture frame on the back of the toilet with a sign that said "Please flush the (censored) toilet!"

Mine does not only not closed the cabinet door. He can't stack dishes neatly in the sink to save his life. He does close the shower curtain and does unload the dishwasher and load it once in a while.

We had it but we traded it for the ability to back a car up and the ability to remember movie lines.

Yes we do,they are called Levis (Adult fit 505s ,we all get older) ;)

You know that "junk drawer" everyone has in their kitchen....Ummm...I have several. :thumbsup2 I mean, if one is good, more is better, right?

Most likely the same gene that causes woman to talk or have meetings in doorways :confused3 :teeth:

But with no woman to follow you around, all the drawers must be left open, no? :confused3 I'll bet the darn toilet seat is up, too, isn't it?
