Do they check for a resort reservation for the movie?

I had planned on an evening of a rest day watching the Fort Wilderness movie. Original plan was to stay entirely at Fort Wilderness. Now it is split between there and off-site with all our rest days off-site. I noticed on the link recently posted that the movie is only for people staying at Fort Wilderness. We *could* theoretically watch a movie on one of our Fort Wilderness days, but I hope to be closing out the parks. I thought we might park at Disney Springs in the afternoon and explore there. I want to visit that photo studio place. Then taking the bus over from Disney Springs, watching the movie, and then busing back to Disney Springs. Will anyone fuss at us for not staying at Fort Wilderness that day?

That's no problem at all, they do not check if you're a guest at the resort at any of the resort outdoor movies. They're for everybody. You would have trouble if you were trying to park there just for the movie, but since you're planning on taking the bus there you'll be fine!

No not if you arrive via Disney bus.

Supposedly the only time they clamp down on bus arrivals is like around Halloween day or eve.

My one (and last) experience with taking a bus between Disney Springs and the Fort is that I got to the bus stop at DS for the Fort just as a bus was pulling away. So I was first in line for the next one.

Which didn't leave until an hour later.

So don't schedule things too close together that day. :rotfl:Maybe you will have better luck though.
