Do they actually kick you out???

I do have to agree that PP was asked to leave and should have kept walking, not stopped for ice cream.

I've been to the party twice and honestly never had anyone ask to see my wristband, but I think that's purely because both times I had short sleeves on and it was very easy to see. I have seen other people checked though. I'm of the mindset that the CMs who are direct about escorting non ticketed guests out should be praised! I can imagine after being trained that the guest is always right and all that, that having to be firm about something like that might be tough to get used to. As odd as it sounds the CMs are part of why I enjoy the party so much, they all seem to really enjoy being there...maybe they get a kick out of seeing all the goofy costumes. Maybe its because guests seem to be in a better mood.

I totally agree with your post apparently others missed her attitude & behavior Too bad Caseys even served her & FWIW you sounded perfectly calm to me :) I pay $62 + for extra hard ticket event I want non-payers out too

I quit going to the party after the 'entitled' were not tossed out. Based on reports it appears Disney might have started doing better, but they need to take posters like 'I then stopped to get more food' to the gate.

When I hear that escorted out only means part way it means I am not likely to return to the party

I'm just curious: for those who have been escorted out, or have seen others escorted out, what were the CMs' attitudes like? Were they still pleasant during the process? I certainly wouldn't want to, say, have a problem and get stuck in a restroom past 7, and then be treated poorly.

You can stay in the park just can't ride the rides.
This is totally incorrect. See my Post #11 in this thread.

We are nice and friendly, and will hold a pleasant conversation with you. But we will stress (if needed) that the Park is closed and that since you did not pay for the special event you have to leave. And I have never (yet) had to ask for assistance from Security.

Hahaha, thanks. I didn't think I was being out of line! :lmao:

You were. It was incredibly rude. This whole board is a bizarro land of mean and rude being good. They didn't think they should be allowed to stay. You chose to read and overreact to one part because it made you feel good about yourself to get on your high horse and lecture someone.

Random Curiosity.... are the party tickets going on the magic bands now? If so how do they efficiently tell all the ticketless joe shmoes from proper paid party goers?

We'll just have to agree to disagree there.

See, you were the one insinuating that I wasn't intelligent enough to get the gist of the original post, even though you seem to be off base.

The poster acknowledged that she was asked to leave, and yet chose not to. She then proceeded to get ice cream, continuing to disregard the rules.

I'm not sure how me thinking that's rude and wrong is a bad thing. Why should that person get to remain in the park when the rules clearly state that only those who paid EXTRA should get to do so?

Continue to presume though and act like I'm doing this out of some desire to make myself feel better, and not to simply state my opinion.

You're the one being rude, I'd say.

Stating the rules, and pointing out someone breaking them, even when instructed to do otherwise isn't lecturing either, it's common sense and decency.

They were polite, professional and well mannered. The only time it got heated was when someone became angry because the "park was closing early" and they didn't know. However the only attitude was on the guest's part, not the CM.
