Do the resorts have any quick service type place?

I have seen on the Universal site that the resorts have TS restaurants and breakfast buffets. I am just wondering if they have anything equivalent to Disney's quick service places. I don't really want to sit down for breakfast as we like to grab something quick and head right to the park.

Thanks!

During the day you can get food poolside. For breakfast you may want to pick something up in the park or at Citywalk. You can get breakfast if you stay club level.

Each of the three onsite hotels has a quick service breakfast area. At which hotel are you staying?

We will be staying at the Royal Pacific Resort.

Although not a full food court like the value resorts at Disney, Royal Pacific resort has the Orchid Court Lounge which offers pastries, cereals and and hot and cold drinks for breakfast. It opens at 6am and is a very pleasant area to sit and have an early morning drink and snack. I am an early riser so most times we stay at RPR, I will get up early and take my Kindle, grab a drink and a pastry and relax in the lounge for an hour or so.

ETA: You can just as easily grab a couple of items to take away, you don't have to remain in the lounge to enjoy them.

If you can wait until you get to the park to eat breakfast, each park has a quick service breakfast available: Croissant Moon Bakery at IOA, and The Boulangerie at US.

Also Citywalk has a couple of breakfast options too: breakfast sandwiches at The Whopper Bar, and breakfast items at Pastamore's Market Cafe. Beware though that the Market Cafe has been slow every time we've ordered food there.

i suggest using the orchid court lounge.

it is ala carte and opens daily at 6:00 am.

plenty of seating areas in that side of the lobby.

great to use when the ioa early entry is at 7:00 for hotel guests.

one tip:
if you get coffee/tea, save the paper cup and receive one free refill that morning you are eating there.

typically, i drink, on the average, about 20 cups a day.
and i drink more water than the average person.
not into sodas or anything with sugar in it.

(when i am at the motherland, i drink mostly water as i detest Nescrap that they call coffee)

i drink coffee when i get up so i can wake up and get dressed.

go down to the orchid court lounge for b'fast when i do early entry to the park.
and drink coffee there too.
