It's been awhile since we've been to the Universal parks...do they still open earlier than the posted time? If so, how early? We'll be staying at RP and therefore have FOTL, but my 13yo wants to still be there at opening. That child is a little me sometimes. :rotfl:

Call RPR's concierge, I believe they are also running this same promotion to on-site hotel guests.

Now - September 3
Annual Passholders can enter the parks at 8:00 am Monday - Friday to experience the following attractions:

• Universal Studios - Shrek 4-D™ and Jimmy Neutron's Nicktoon Blast™
• Islands of Adventure - The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man® and The Incredible Hulk Coaster®

I'm so glad you posted the rides open. I saw another thread and was cursing USF for letting AP holders and not resort guests in early, but it's not really worth getting up early for 2 rides in each park - especially with FOTL.

This is kinda like Disney letting resort guests in early and not passholders. Universal takes better care of their passholders than Disney does. But I agree...it's not really worth getting up early for just a few rides.

We went to IOA on 6/7. We got to the front gate at 8:30 and they were letting AP holders in. They let the rest of us in around 8:45.

I didn't realize they let AP holders in early. Good to know although 4 of us will be AP holders but my DN10 will not be. I think FOTL should be enough. Thanks for the tip!
