Do the fast pass machines work in early EMH?

We are going Christmas week. We own a timeshare off-site. MK has early EMH everyday. We get to parks at opening, but that will be an hour later for us versus the people staying on site. Will they hand out fast passes so that by the time we get there half of them are gone?

That's actually TWO questions.

1. "Will they hand out fast passes"

Probably.

2. "by the time we get there half of them are gone?"

Don't know what "half of them" means,
but you should still be able to get a set of FP's an hour after the resort guests have been admitted.
I know many who "just CAN'T get up THAT early" so they blow-off the early EMH... and many just "ride as many things as they can" in the first hour.

If FP's work like usual, you can only get ONE SET within an hour, anyway.
(If you choose Splash Mtn FP, you won't be able to get Big Thunder Mtn FP's until about an hour after that.)

Yes, it will be busy.
VERY busy.
If you choose to go at this time, you'll just need to be very FLEXIBLE about what you CAN and CAN'T do.

When we attended an ealy EMH last summer, all of the fast pass machines we saw were covered and they were not giving any out.
