Do the deer in your area look both ways before crossing?

Had one dart out in front of my car before. It was heading straight to the passenger side door and then made a quick move in front and barely missed being clipped.

Around here the deer have little fear because they're not hunted and because mountain lions are mostly driven to less populated areas.
