Do the DD Cast Members work from home?

Just wondering because I heard a screaming kid in the background near the end of my call and the CM was rushing to get off I could tell.

Some agencies do have agents that work out of their homes. Whether or not DD does, I couldn't tell you. It's possible.

I actually asked once when I called last summer. The representative on the phone said that everyone works out of a central office in Orlando.

A few calls included definite non-office noises in the background. And some have no background noise, and seem extremely quiet. Which is not what I imagine a call center to sound like either.

They will also assure that the name they are using is their real name, but that isn't true either.

I dunno. I work in a call center, and boy, sometimes it DOES sound like there are a bunch of little kids in the background! Understand, they're mostly men in their twenties - but sometimes it's hard to concentrate on the customer with all the distractions!
