for calling 83 times to see if there is a code for the AKL, or if I can upgrade to a one bedroom villa or WHATEVER. Is there a little notation that comes up on their screen that indicates i JUST called 40 minutes ago, and then they put me on hold and make fun:rotfl2: Please tell me this does not happen.

Oh, I gotta believe they do. They have to be able to relieve their work stress somehow. We should feel good to know that we offer them that comedic relief.

It's like a public service we provide to the CM's, really. We should be proud.

Excellent way of looking at it darlak!!:thumbsup2 It's almost necessary then that I allow them to make fun of me at least once/week. Now I feel like I am actually helping others instead of just upgrading my resort. AWESOME:banana:

of course they do. we have many wdw cm friends and some guest stories are pretty funny, esp. over drinks.

I love it when others that what I believe is my "good idea" and make it better. Now I'm starting to feel like I should make every effort to call even MORE often than I do now. I think we should set daily as our ideal and whenever someone manages to meet that goal, they should come back here and post so that we can all applaud their accomplishment.

I think we should take this one more step though. Is just calling daily really the best we can do? I think each of us should ask at least one really stupid question during the course of each call. We could start a list of "really stupid" questions for those of us (like me, at the moment!) who can't think of anything really stupid to say or ask.
 
They probally do and think its another diser calling us from that crazy site that many people our on lol
 
LOL! We should have our own extension. When you call Disney, it should be "press 9 if you are on that crazy Dis board". Then you hear music for a minute, then "press 2 if you are trying to get a better deal AGAIN". LOL!

You've got to be kidding that they know we have!!! Now I know why they never give me the discounts anymore!!!! I should have known I was wasting my breath and time!!!!!!
 
I think I have to sign in to that list now... I changed mine 5 times this week, but I think I'm done now.... no, wait, I have to ressies going now and I only changed one of them.... I'd better start calling back right away. I called so much yestserday that I got the same CM two times in a row!!! I know she was sick of me!!!

I think their computers have a running list of calls and ressies for each person.... that's why they keep asking for our email and phone numbers!!

I changed my ressies three times in one DAY (from CBR to ASMo to ASMu to POP) and I actually got the SAME CM twice (first and 3rd call) it was SO funny 'cause he remembered me.

LMAO!!! Actually, I had wanted to stay at POP in the FIRST place! Here's the deal:

We found out we were going to Disney in Jan for DD9s Gymnastics. Priced out POP and booked it. Found out we could get a really good deal thru Disney Sports Travel at CBR or All Star Sports. Had no desire to stay at Sports, so cancelled POP ressie and went with CBR. No crazy about that because main pool is closed most of next year, but AWESOME deal...room and 5 day tix 1136 (PH and more) for the three of us. Couldn't add dining plan though and wanted to because of convenience. Fast forward to Visa Code coming out, called to see what it would do and it brought it to 1845 with deluxe dining (my food budget was almost $800 so it was saving us a bit and I could add it so I switched)..Thought about it a couple of days and called to switch to POP, but was told it wasn't available. Switched to ASMo, talked with kids, decided we really didn't want to stay there, called back and switched to ASMu. Called back a third time to apply a payment (Coke Reward -- Virtual Visa) Got the same guy from the first call who noticed I'd already switched, said he'd check for POP again for me, and he was able to get it then (not sure how, didn't ask)...SO, no, I'm not in resort limbo anymore. :laughing: :rotfl:

I'm sure you wanted to hear that whole story!!:lmao: :rolleyes1

I have a friend who is in Mousekeeping management at one of the resorts...She tells me many, many "fun" guest stories -- :rotfl2:
 
Goodness GRAVY....is that the story you tell the CM each time you call (just kidding). Actually, now that I think about it, I dooooooo kind of go through this whole rigamaroll about what I have reserved now, what I had reserved before, what I WANT to reserve but haven't done so yet, and that's why I am calling....etc. etc. They are probably in front of the computer going:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

I think it's the other way around....They're not allowed to give out the discounts until we have called at least three times. :lmao: Then they can apply the special discount for annoying, unrelenting, die-hard code-hunting DISers. :rotfl:

Next time we are just rambling on to a CM about changing ressies etc.....and it is justttttt about to the point where you know they are either laughing or have actually left the desk for a cup of coffee and then came back:surfweb: ........
We should just say " I know I'm driving you crazy with all of this... why don't you just give me your discount and I won't call and bother anyone again this week!!" :rotfl:

I called about 2 weeks ago after calling almost every day (sometimes twice a day) to try and change a reservation from a moderate to a value. On one of my calls I got a really rude CM that said he could see that I had called about this several times and that I should just give up (not call back) because if a room was cancelled it would go into the regular rate rooms not the discounted rooms. I told him a CM I talked to earlier told me to check back periodically because people cancelled all the time. He told me this wasn't true and he didn't know why they told me this. I can't remember all he said or how he said it, but it was definately an upsetting call, not because I couldn't get the discount, but how he made me feel with the way he talked to me. I knew he was wrong and didn't want to argue with him, so the next day I called back got a wonderful CM and guess what, there was a room available and at a discount.

See, this bothers me:headache: I have posted before that, although a rude CM is the exception to the rule, the kind of ruin your day. SO WHAT that you have called a million times. Speak kindly and answer my questions!!!!!!!!!!Where is your PIXIE DUST, MAN!!! I LOVE CM's that get just as excited as I do:banana: :banana:
