I was trying to find a thread, to see how it turned out (yes I am being nosey LOL)....can't seem to find it.

Are you talking about the pregnancy thread that many of us (including myself) thought was a troll? If that's the one, it disappeared the same day it appeared. If not that one, I can tell you that some threads do just disappear. Not sure if the one you are referring to just disappeared or was moved to another board, though.

It's pretty rare that a thread gets removed on the DIS rather than just locked and very often the Mods post an brief comment before they do so. Any chance you could give us the Coles Notes version? I was actually in the process of clicking on it when it "poofed".

A troll? It's not like she is a new poster. If you don't like her, don't click on her threads. You should know what she's like by now, so pass her by.

I believe there is a strong possibility she has special needs. However - people with special needs are still capabil of manipulation, lying and troll-like behavior.

If she is functioning enough to post on a public message board then she is certainly functioning enough to take the criticism that goes along with that! And that included posters calling her out on her posting inconsistencies or suspicions that she's making up posts.

And her two prior pregnancy scare threads were much more coherent with better grammar back then.

Yes. I found it more than coincidental that immediately following her vasectomy thread, she posted a pregnancy scare thread.

See, I disagree with this. If someone (regardless of their status) chooses to post on a public message board, anyone has the right to comment on those postings. It can't go both ways.

None of us really know the total situation of that poster. The beauty of the boards is that we can choose whether or not we respond.

And if the pregnancy scare was real, I'm glad they got things "fixed" so to speak.
