Do rooms/room categories open up closer to the PIF date?

Just curious, does anyone know if you see more room categories open up closer or just after the PIF date?

When exactly is the paid in full date? I have heard it is 75 days out from sailing date? Is that correct?

Do prices tend to jump up or come down slightly if the ship is not full?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

The PIF date depends on the cruise. For most cruises out of Port Canaveral, it is 75 days before cruising.

Whether there are more categories opening depends on how full the ship is and how many GTY cabins may have been sold. Generally it benefits DCL to keep open as many price points as possible.

If the ship is not full, there are often specials available. Sometimes these are for special groups--FL res, CMs, TAs, etc. Other times they are available to any new bookings.
