I'm starting to pack for my kids and I'm wondering if any of the ride seats get really hot for little legs in shorts? I haven't noticed in the past but I ussually have jeans or capris on. Now that I am thinking about it most rides are actually inside a building of some kind. Has anyone had a problem with that? Just wondering if pants would be better but it is sooo hot and we will be there Sunday.

I'd shoot for longer shorts if you have them. I keep thinking of the rides that ARE outdoors. When we went in December they were pretty warm..but in July they'd be BAKING hot

My girls wear bermuda shorts while at DL, keeps them cooler but they aren't so short. :)

:goodvibesWe find that the rides are occupied all the time so they never really get to just sit in the sun to become hot. We wear short every trip and have never had a problem...Have Fun!

Last Oct., we had problems with a seat on the Jumpin Jellyfish. Some of the seats sit in the direct sun, and it was really hot that day. DS got on and jumped off very quickly. He refused to ride. I think that rides that are always in the direct sun (ie Teacups) will have problems with heat.
