Do restaurants (of course not buffets) allow you to take out your leftovers?

I have to eat about every 2-3 hours and I can not eat very much at a time. I wanted to get the deluxe dining plan so we could go to a lot of the 2 credit places. I figured I could take some of my leftovers and eat them in a few hours. Do the restaurants have a problem with this?

I have been able to take out anything I have wanted- in fact at times (with the dining plan) I have ordered dessert to go (asking for which ones were best for that) and have taken that with us as well.

Not at all, however you will likely find that on that plan you will have enough credits to manage your eating schedule without lugging food around.

Obviously, the plan is not designed for you to load up on extra food with the intent of squeezing out an extra dining credit, but if you order a logical meal and have left over food they are ready to doggie bag for you.

I had the large pizza at Via Napoli on Tuesday(9/14) and asked for a take-out box for the 3 pieces I couldn't eat,and they gave me one. BTW, the pizza was great!!!

We generally have what we can't finish boxed up to go ... but not always. If we are at the parks and won't be back to the room within a reasonable amount of time we won't try to take it with us. Carrying around a container of food in the Florida heat for any length of time is a scary thought!

We ate at the Prime Time Cafe and my DW wasn't feeling very well that day, and barely touched her food, they had no problem packing it up to go, and we headed back to the resort and put it in the fridge till she was up to it...
