Do resorts change comforters between each guest?

We were at Pop in early December, we had connecting rooms. Our room had a king with the old comforter, and the kids room had two doubles with the new bedding.

I can't click on that link! :(

Sorry about that. link won't work for me either. Basicly said:

From 12/13

I have to admit I have not been to a Disney World Resort resort since earlier this year, so when I saw rumors floating around that Disney was removing all of those themed comforters from the rooms I had to find out more.
I had it confirmed by 3 different Cast Members that that comforters are being removed from all of the resort rooms. They are still in the process of removing them from all resorts. Only about a quarter of the resorts have been done so far. They will replace the comforters with a runner at the bottom of the bed made in the same pattern as the old comforters. The beds will now have 2 thin flat sheets with a blanket in between. They say it’s to give the rooms a “more updated look”.
There is no word on how long this transition will take and there is no schedule as far as what resorts will be done and when.

The triple sheeting is a sheet, blanket, and sheet folded in a way that they usally stay together. That's in place of the comforter. Then under that is a blanket and then the regular sheet. So it's basically like three sheets and two blankets.

Ah...got it. That should be just fine. For some reason I thought "triple sheeting" was just 3 layers of sheets. :rotfl2:

Great info, but no one has actually answered the OP's original intended question, which is does the bed covering (sheeting or comforter) get washed between guests???

Does no one know? I'm with PPs, that I'd like to think so.... but DO THEY?? :confused3:confused3

Yes they get washed. That is the idea behind triple sheeting, all the pieces are pulled off and washed. Unlike the heavy bedspreads of the past, that couldn't easily be washed, the triple sheeting is suppose to be changed/washed between each guest stay. I guess whether or not it actually is done is dependent upon your mousekeeper.

I've been there twice with the triple sheeting now, and, from what I've seen, the top sheet is washed when they change the sheets. It gets wrinkled from use, and the new ones look like they've been ironed. So I would say yes.
