Do the resorts save a few slots at their nice restaurants for their quest staying at that resort? I know when we stay at OKW and go to Olivia's, they ask us if we are staying at OKW and usually seat us within a few minutes. I would think they would need to allow their quest to have a nice dinner without having to book 180 days out. There are a lot of folks who just don't do DDP or don't know how quick they book up. My sister and her husband are these people. They have not been to Disney for 10+ years and just assume if they stay of one of Disney's 6 key resorts, they can just call down the day of and get a ADR. I tend to aggree but you know how Disney does things some times and I was unable to answer this question for her.. Just wondering..smjj

No, in fact, there have been many posts of resort guests being turned away from their own resort restaurants when they try to do walkins.

We're on room only. We've been getting some fun little post cards, mini info packages from WDW in the past two weeks. All three nicely mention to remember to made ADR's.

100% of all restaurant capacity is available for advance dining. Nothing is held in reserve.
