Do people wear bathing suits at the parks?

We are going in June and expect it to be very hot.

Can you wear a bathing suit, with a cover up/dress over it.
Or can the guys wear swim trunks with a tshirt?

A lot of people did that in seaward/San Antonio last year, and it was so much more cooler and we didn't mind being wet all day.

Thanks! :thumbsup2

Sure.

I wore a bathing suit with a normal sun-sort-of-dress over it. It worked out, except we didn't end up going on any water rides as we had planned, so it was all for nothing.

Big recommendation...do NOT wear a one-piece under that sundress. Bathroom stops were a nightmare.

I've also seen people wearing bikini tops without a shirt...regardless of what a person looks like in that outfit, I felt like that was going a bit too far.

This is why they invented the tankini suit!:rotfl: I saw some little kids last week in swimsuits…no adults, but then again, I wasn't looking for it. I can't see why you can't wear a tankini with waterproof shorts or a coverup that actually, ahem, covers up!

If I wore a bikini top without a shirt around a theme park all day (which I would never do anyway, of course), I would just spend my entire day slathering on more and more sunscreen. Does not sound like fun.

My DS and I wear swim shorts, sandals, and a t-shirt. My DW wears a one piece, quick dry shorts, and a t-shirt. This is the best because you can ride all the water ride and not worry one bit. We also carry out passes and money in a ziplock and a water proof video camera.:thumbsup2

OH I see no problem with the tankini thing either, except it wouldn't work for me even with the bra shelf in the top. Well, it hasn't worked, but now I'm doing WW and it should work better on our next trip, if I choose to do that. :)

My tankini (for swimming) was wet from the swim the day before, which is why it came down to the one-piece, which I didn't think through. :headache:

Doesn't sound like fun to me, either. But the people I've seen rockin' the bikini top and shorts didn't seem to care much about sunscreen....

Yep, a tankini or skirtini for me these days ! :thumbsup2
