Do people really change that much?

Do you have friends or people you knew in High School/College who had no ambition or drive and pretty much stayed the same?

My DH really did a 180 from his high school years, but something just sparked and he changed.

My DH is a completely different person than he was in high school. However, we know of some who had no ambition in high school & still don't, one has even ended up homeless because his family stopped paying his way for everything (he's 37 & never worked) & he spent all of his inheritance from his grandfather on drugs. I truly think some people can't change & don't want to change.

It depends on the person. Some get a wakeup call - sadly, others never do.

Oh my, I changed so much it's unreal. It's like looking back at someone elses life except for the fact that it makes me cringe too much for it to be someone else.

I just thank God for this change.
