Do NOT like Fast pass set up!

Thanks I didn't know that!! So, hypothetically, if someone were to choose say a tier 1 at DHS and only that ride ( deleting the other 2 that the system chose), could they then go into the park & start pulling more FPs from tier 1 from a kiosk..? Sort of like their 4th FP but really their 2nd - if that makes sense..?

Yes, in theory that would be what happens. But I haven't heard any reports from anyone who tried to get one after manually deleting 2 of their FP and using 1.

I have deleted 1 though, so I am positive that works

I do know of folks who book 2 early, with no plans to use them (will be sleeping in, will be using stand by, etc) so when they use their first FP they are ready to book more. That usually gets you going on your 4th+ earlier than if you waited to actually use all 3

And that's something the individual guest will have to deal with. Is the attraction more worth than a dining reservation?

Nothing against this poster but that's been a big comment I've seen. I don't do dining reservations since I take shorter trips so my FastPass+ experience has been great. I've tweaked a few but just had my counter service meals around that schedule. And it's just been the two grown adults so no issues with that either.

Personally, if I *had* to have a dining reservation, I'd do FastPasses around that meal. Or if I *had* to ride something, I'd do my dining reservations around that ride.

I can't speak for other guests who've made similar comments, but my beef with the overlapping stemmed from the fact that the system obviously recognized that I had an existing ADR and even noted it during the FP+ time. Why even pull up a time slot when the guest has an ADR if there are other openings available (and in my case, there were lots of alternates)? Why can't they do something similar to the dining reservation system, which won't let you double book?

Obviously, I'm going to prioritize my plans based on what's most important. It's just that so much of the IT side of Disney makes me want to roll my eyes clear out of my head.

I am pretty optimistic and I TRY to see the best in everything. But I am also super aggravated in having to plan out our whole day and what ride we are going to ride when. I love park hopping and I find it super annoying that I MUST pick 3 attractions when I only want 1.

We really liked the opportunity to pre select our passes. We hopped every day on our recent 4 day trip. 2 of those days, we chose to make our FP selection at our 2nd park of the day. Normal hopping, we would have seen all FP gone by the time we hopped in the afternoon. This way, the day we hopped to MK, we had already chosen our 3 attractions at prime times. What we did not have open was the 4th selection, but even if we had used the 3 at the first park, many of the star attractions would have been gone.

I really think the next gen will offer multiple parks. If Disney wants to continue to sell hoppers (and they do), then they have to make it viable on FP+.

Thank you!! I just made some random ones and tried it and I was able to get it to work on my laptop. The words "Cancel existing FP for that day" is a little scary and I didn't want to risk losing what I really wanted.

REALLY good example of just how clunky and counter-intuitive the site is. Seriously, give feedback to Disney if you can. They really, really need to be addressing these design issues.

I did our our FP+s this morning. I didn't care for it, it was kind of annoying the whole set up. But I also don't like having to schedule rides months in advance either. I have a horrible feeling that everything I booked will not go with where the crowds are on any day or time:worried:.
