We are going in August and will be using a limo service. I have no clue who to use.

If you do a search for limo service or private car service on the DISboards Transportation forum, you'll get a lot of recommendations. The sponsor of that forum is FLTours Transportation, highly liked, and we used Tony Hinds, email address aobh607@gmail.com, for our recent trip and were very pleased. There are others that are dependable.

It now appears you can schedule private mears transportation for MCO to and from Disney when you make your reservation. They have options of different cars/vans/limos etc. pretty expensive though.

Pricing model for express doesn’t make as much sense for me now. You can get their express, which is really shared you just get priority.. or get their own round trip private suv for the same price.

By issues, do you mean Mears will not allow you to get on the bus to the resort?

if either flight time is changed, they may not be readily prepared for your arrival.

I've tried to make a reservation online several times now and the reservation page will not accept my information. (Specifically the name of my airline) In frustration I called their "Mears Connect" phone number and asked the representative who answered to help me over the phone. She tried... but was also unable to get the computer to accept the information. She then admitted that they have been getting a lot of calls with this issue and didn't have any further suggestions!!? So heads up everyone...Do NOT count on Mears Connect.

I made a fake reservation without a problem. The airline I will be using in December populated. This could be browser related. Have you tried another browser?

We used the Mears Connect Standard for our trip a couple of weeks ago and absolutely loved it. Disclaimer: 2 adults with 2 suitcases and 2 carryon bags (think large backpacks type).

Our incoming trip was kind of late in the day (arrived after 8pm) so there weren't many people waiting. We were put on a shuttle (newer, very clean, nice, comfy) with 1 other party in less than 15 minutes from checking in with Mears. They dropped them off at Port Orleans, then took us to Yacht Club. I don't know how they chose which stop was first, but the other party had children, so I was glad they picked their stop. I'm sure that party appreciated it.

For our pickup, we had a bus. We were picked up 3 hours before our flight. There was at least 1 other stop before us and a few after us. Each stop was quicky managed and we'd be on our way. I'd say the bus was 2/3? full by the time we fully headed off. Bus was nice, seemed like a re-decorated magical express. It was probably 1.15 hours (I was chatting away and not paying attention) to get to the airport with the stops.

Both drivers were very personable and attentive (explaining where the vents in the back of the van were because the children were cold, etc.). I know the pickup of 3 hours before flight may be early for some, but magical express was the same way. Given the stops, chance of traffic, and chance of an airport mess of lines, its within recommended time to arrive at the airport. If you want more control over arrival times, you hire a private car/ride share.

Overall its 2 thumbs up from us. Service was prompt, value was good, vehicles were clean. Will use again. I'm hoping it will be popular enough to keep their prices down.
