Do My Crocs Fit Correctly???

Okay, need a little help here.

I've read through tons of Crocs threads and I'm not sure about the answer to this one... I finally caved and bought myself a pair of lime green Crocs for our upcoming October/November trip. :cool1: Ordered them from Zappos.com and I'm happy with them overall, but need to know if they fit correctly so as to avoid any nasty blister incidents in WDW. :rotfl2:
From reading previous posts, I know my toes aren't supposed to touch the end of the shoe (they don't) and the heel strap is not supposed to be against my ankle (it's not). However, the top of my foot DOES touch the top of the shoe. Is this right? :confused3 I don't think it's called a high "arch" per se, because my arch (underneath) is actually pretty normal, I think, but my "foot bone" is "tall"...does that make ANY sense? In other words, the top of my foot is higher than average when measured for height. I also have wide feet, so they do touch the sides of the shoes, but I figure SOMETHING has to touch SOME part of the shoe, or else it would never stay on! :teeth: I'm not sure if this is going to cause a rubbing problem when wearing the Crocs long days in the parks. Any opinions/information/advice? Thanks!

the only part of my foot that touches (besides the bottom of course :teeth: ) is the top. I wear mine everyday and have no problems. I would say unless it feels uncomfortably tight you will be fine.

well my strap touches the back of my foot, as the larger size were way too big and wouldnt stay on my feet

the strap touches my foot too! A lot..
I think if they are comfortable, then you will be fine.
These shoes have literally changed my life! :)
However, they may not be so great for everyone!

I tried on a pair at EMS and was very surprised at how much room there was, it did not seem comfortable. I normally do not take a narrow shoe, but these crocs seem extremely wide.

Are they designed that way?

Do you mean you have a high instep? My DD has this although her feet are thin. Also I have a question do the crocs run big or small because my feet have grown after baby # 2. They are wide and have grown a size. I can be a 6 or a 7. Don't know which size to order. Does anyone knowwhat store has them? Thanks

I really wanted some of these shoes, but after I tried them on in the mall I knew I couldn't get any. My first three toes are pretty much the same length. All about the length of my big toe, so my 3rd toes touches the front of the shoe, because of the way they angle down in the front. Even a larger size did it. Oh well, all the more reason to order the flip flops!! They are cuter anyway. :rotfl2:

I am not sure where you guys are buying these but I checked out Zippos and they are very $$$...if you go online to Journeys or Dicks Sporting Goods you can order them for much cheaper...I think the beach ones I paid 29.99 and the Highlander I paid 34.99...I love my crocs...and plan to buy more more more... :Pinkbounc :bounce: :jumping3:

They run big. Many Hallmark stores carry them. Also, Dillards does (don't know if you have those in your area however). Also many sporting goods stores have them.

If you search on this site for Crocs you'll find many threads and there are hints about how to put them in a dryer to help mold them to your foot if they are too large for you (those of you with more narrow feet).

I adore my crocs - I wore mine this past weekend to a Cat Show and my feet were/are in heaven today! Before wearing athletic shoes they would of been sore and achy and hot.

I can't wait to try them out at Disney in 6 weeks!!!!! Ely

Does anyone have the highlanders or any of the ones without holes? I wear the pearl ones for work (health field) and the only thing I did notice is that my feet sweat terrible in them...never have to worry about cold feet that is for sure...

Is there away to avoid this...maybe cool max socks or something?? I don't want to give up wearing them...I feel like I am wearing bedroom slippers to work they are soooooo comfortable...maybe I should have got the 'professional' ones instead...they have holes on the sides only...but then what do I do with the ones I got...has anyone wore the pearl white ones and not work in the health field??

Thanks!

Hey I didn't know Orlando airport has a CROCS store...I was looking at the airport web site...going to pick up my mom and sister there while we are vacationing...wanted to check out the lay out and eateries there...and low and behold there is a CROCS store...has anyone been in there? I know they sell CROCS hoodies...on the web site...wonder if they got them there?

Check it out....

I've always said I'll never buy a pair, but the other day I was shoe shopping and tried on a pair, they are really comfortable so I think I'll get a pair....I'm just worried because they are so ugly! :lmao: Do a lot of people really wear these at Disney...I've never noticed them.....I don't want to be the only one looking foolish :rolleyes1

I don't know if alot of people where these at Disney since this is pretty much my fisr t trip there but I do see alot of people wearing them here where I live. I have a pearl white highlander pair I wear to work and a black beach pair I wear with shortr or jeans at home. I plan on bringing the black ones with my on my trip...even thought about getting brown or navy too. I can't imagine wearing the bright colored ones as I don't like standing out in a crowd. The only negative thing I have to say about them is that my feet sweat in them terribly. I don't know if this is the way they are supposed to be or I just have abnormally sweaty feet...eeeewwww! But I have to admit, sweaty or not...they don't stink...lol!

Get Crocs...they are sooo comfortable! Who cares what everyone else says anyhow?!!

I don't know where you live but here in TN everyone wears them. I'm from NJ and when I first saw them I said Why is everyone wearing their garden clogs out with their regular clothes. Well I finally bought a pair. I'm more likely to wear Uggs then Crocs normally. They are really ugly though. I like the Athens flip flop better but also have Beach in blue pearl.

They are ugly, that's for sure, but I DON"T CARE!!! LOL. I wore mine to Disney last year and I think they just weren't as widespread as they are now. The security people at AK laughed when they saw me coming and said I stole Donald's shoes. (My Crocs are bright yellow...loud but they sure make my legs look tan...lol.)

We went in January and DH has never seen Crocks before our trip. Half way through the trip he pulls me aside and quietly asks

“what’s up with all these people wearing ugly shoes? Is this the new Disney thing? “ :lmao:

He knows how much time I spend on DIS so he thought it was another one of the “Disney things”. :rotfl:

I have a pair of Caymen's. They fit loose everywhere (toes don't touch, strap doesn't touch, you can see space around my foot) but I have noticed a problem when I do a lot of walking. I wore mine to the zoo with socks and had no problem. A week later I wore them to an amusement park without socks. I noticed towards late afternoon that the tops of my feet were hurting. The next day I had bruises across the tops of both feet where my feet obviously hits the shoe with each step. I wore them the following weekend back to the zoo with socks and my feet still got the bruises on top. Anyone know what's causing this and how to stop it. I love the crocs and planned to get another pair before Disney.

I bought mine after reading the DIS and am looking forward to trying them at WDW. I wore them last weekend when I was out all day and never had a problem. Yeh, I once told my DD "no, I'm not buying you those ugly shoes", and now I own a pair. But hey, I crack up when I see Mario Batalli wearing his orange ones on Food Network! :rotfl2: They gotta be good!

I would love to get a pair- My DD has 5 pair, son has 1, but I'm with the ones who say their toes hit. How does everyone say their toes don't hit? I have tried bigger, smaller, kids ( I have a very small foot) but no matter what my front toes rub the front. How does your foot stay put without sliding forward and touching.
I really hope someone has some suggestions 'cause I think they are great and especially on the kids and teens look so cute.
