Do Magic Bands Stay On? Worried about losing them.

I never lost one even in typhoon lagoons wave pool and that is saying something!!!

We had no problems keeping ours on. We kept them on the majority of the day basically only taking them off to sleep. We did make sure to tell our then 6 yr old not to play with it so it wouldn't fall off. As others have said just make sure it is secure otherwise it will come off easily.

I've lost 2 so far. They've just got loose and came off my wrist and I didn't notice. I have extras so I have started carrying an extra one in my bag just in case I decide to park hop or leave the park and want to get back in easily.

On my last trip, my extra one wouldn't open my room door at POR so I had to walk back to guest services to have them set it - I wasn't too thrilled since it was 1am but now I know just to stop off there when I get back to the resort if I lose one.

Never had a problem with mine coming off and mine is decorated including a watch face. But if worried get a slider.

I bring some of DDs rainbow loom bands and wrap them around the magic bands. Seemed to work fine and could match up the colors!

My mom's fell off and my daughters fell off. I am not wanting to spend time at customer service and ending uo wiht a gray band (e kids would care) so we will buy the band covers. You can also use a small elastic band.

You would have to snag it on something or play with it too much for it to come off on its own. :)

I have never lost a band yet. You can shorten them so that they are not going to fall off like a bangle bracelet may. I have really small wrists so I take off the gray part and secure it and it's safe yet comfortable. I wore mine all through the wave pools and slides and it didn't even loosen up! As long as you press the snaps in all the way it should stay on fine.

11 people, 7 days no lost magic bands. Only took them off if we went in the pool and at BB.

I've never lost one. A friend had one pop off because he was taking off his backpack and the band got caught on one of the straps. With young kids, unless they toy with the bands a lot, they probably won't lose them.

Somehow before the first time we used it one of the two "prongs" that connect the band fell off on my DD's band. I was worried about it not staying on so each day I put a small, clear waterproof band-aid around the band and that worked to keep it on...it probably would have been fine, but I was worried since it only had one prong to connect it. I had decorated it for her and wouldn't have been able to decorate a new one in the park, so I didn't try to get a new one.

I've had mine fall off on two separate occasions, but I think they were complete flukes as everyone else in my party has never lost one. Even if you do lose it, replacing them is relatively hassle-free.

I suppose a toddler or kid could lose one by taking it off but older kids and adults shouldn't have an issue.

We've had more than 1 trip that towards the end (after about 5-6 days) it's questionable and we've almost lost them on rides like space mountain. We just put them in the bags that almost every ride has to hold your things now or our pockets/backpack when needed or if we feel safer.
