we are skipping ts lunches this trip. Do lines shrink a bit around lunchtime?

also can anyone post of link for history of EMPH hrs for May? mainly looking for MK and EPCOT extra hrs....

Heavens, no. They start to swell around 10AM and continue to grow until later in the evening. Parade times or firework times are good times to ride the attractions that are open.

But the lines at the counter services do swell around lunch time because most guests are stuck with the idea that you eat lunch at lunchtime.

Everyone in the parks will eat at different times so no, it does not make much of a difference.

This is exactly what I was going to suggest -- lines tend to decrease during parades and fireworks, so take advantage of that.

by lunchtime-- 12:30pm the places were packed to eat. (pecos bills, couldnt find an empty table at all.
lines for BTMRR and Spash Mountain were over 80 minutes.

lines do not diminish at lunch time at all.

we headed out of the park by 1pm

~No, that's when the parks get crowded! There is a large group of people who love to sleep in and enjoy a late breakfast, they won't be looking for lunch when they get to the parks. Have fun. :goodvibes
