Do like Buddy Guy?

I do not! However, Stephen loves him. He is such a music fan, all kinds of music, but, his favorite is blues. He keeps bugging me to see whose at the House of Blues while we're at WDW in September. Would you believe that Buddy Guy is playing the last Friday we're there? Stephen asked me last night if I found out who was playing, and I told him Ted Nugent (thinking he would not want to see him) He was so excited and wanted tickets. I told him Nugent was there the night we had Night of Joy tickets, so I hope he stops asking me. My boss is letting me order tickets to Buddy Guy on her credit card so Stephen doesn't see the charge, and I'll have them either at will call or sent to my work. He will be so excited. I am trying to keep it a secret until we get there, but I am so excited I may just blurt it out one day. He always figures out surprised, so I really want this one to remain a secret. Help me keep my mouth shut, k?

As an incentive just remember that if something happened and He cancelled ( as the Lengendary Soul Stirrers did in July) you won't have someone whose very,very disappointed on your hands! Don't say anything!!

I've never heard him, but he's playing at the Madison Blues Fest later this month.

Buddy Guy is an amazing blues guitarist/vocalist. I saw him a few years ago when he came to my city for a concert. At one point, he left the stage and played in the audience. I got the biggest thrill when he came up to me and we danced together. Have a great time!

Buddy Guy is an excellent blues performer. DH sings in a blues band so we have a lot of Buddy Guy, John Mayall, BB King, Stevie Ray Vaughn, et. al. playing on the stereo.

However, I'm a rocker and always will be. Give me Led Zepplin or give me death.

That is excellent! My DB surprised me on my birthday last year with tickets to see Ronnie Earle. It was fabulous.

I just tried to buy a stratocaster off ebay that was signed by Buddy Guy, but they wanted more than I wanted to pay

You may be pleasantly surprised. I have seen Buddy Guy a few times here in Boston at this great waterfront venue we have. He is really a very talented bluesman.

Well, I'm not dreading it as much as I was before I posted this. I do love a good guitarist, it's the blues singing that drives me crazy. If he's that good, maybe it will be a good night. I almost told him tonight. Stephen flew to Portland to help Sarah (dd 21) drive home, and we were talking about our trip to WDW at dinner. He never gets as excited as I do, so I almost told him so he'd have something to look forward to. I didn't, and I won't (I hope)!
