Do I stand any chance of getting into VB on Good Friday at 7 months?

We will be cruising on DCL during Easter, and I have been searching high and low for good airfare. The best option I have found flies us to Fort Lauderdale on Good Friday, giving us a 3+ hour drive up the coast to the port. I thought this might be a good opportunity to visit and spend the night at Vero Beach, but our home resorts are HH and BWV, so I wouldn't be able to call until the 7 month window. Maybe since we need a Friday night our chances would be better? I only have enough points left in my account for a studio, so I know that limits the availability even more. Has anyone ever had luck booking Vero during Easter at 7 months? I currently have a room booked at the Radisson near the port, but would love the chance to stay at Vero instead!

It won't hurt to give it a try. Actually, the majority of the resort is studios/Inn so your chances of getting one of those is greater than getting a one-bedroom or larger. Good luck!
