Do I really need a lunch time ADR for Trails End Buffet?

Wahoo!! I'm at 60 days this morning. I have my FP and need a little guidance with fitting in some dining plans. Here are the details: March 23, a Thursday with predicted moderate-heavy spring break crowds. I'm wondering if I can skip getting an ADR for lunch at Trails End and just show up sometime between 1:30 and 3:30 depending on how our touring goes? Will we get in easily or have a wait without an ADR?

I'm not sure how busy the campground is going to be in the middle of the day and would really like to have some flexibility in our plans.

If you are okay with missing this meal at lunchtime, I think its okay to chance going without an ADR or with trying for one that day. If you have your heart set on this meal, make the ADR. I think it all depends on how your priorities lie, flexibility and chance eating somewhere else, or make the ADR and lose the spontaneous feel of that time of day.

I tend to make ADR's I think I will need for the family if we really want to go there on specific days and times. Other folks have luck just showing up, but I am not good with chancing that.

Unless things are different in March ... this might be a moot question. We were there for dinner on Thursday night and there is currently no lunch being served at Trail's end. They do serve brunch on the day you're looking at but only until 2:00. I personally wouldn't risk it, HOWEVER depending on what you're wanting to eat they have some mighty fine fried chicken to go, grab that and find a picnic table . NO ADR needed and it is on the dining plan as a CS credit and if you're not it's still very reasonable.
