Do I need to do something to let the app know which old magic band we are using?

My family of four is heading to Disney World on Saturday!!! I got new magic bands for my dd and I, but my dh and ds didn't want new ones. They each have 3 old ones. On the app it says that two of the three are active. Do I need to do anything to show which one they are going to use?

No. As long as a MB is Active in their profiles, they can use any of them. So if you bring them all, they can use different ones every day if you’d like. And it only takes a click or two to reactivate a MB that’s marked as Inactive.

If you are staying on site I do suggest dropping by the front desk and having them check their systems to see the status of each band brought along
If any show as inactive or unavailable on their end they can fix it.
Sometimes even active bands won't open room doors for whatever reason.
In my experience, if your band does open the door, you have no problems in the parks. I'm sure there are always exceptions, there always are. Just relating my experiences with the darn things.
