Do I need to call Magical Express? Added someone last minute

Hi,

Hoping you all can help!

Here's the situation:

Had a trip planned for three people, January 28-February 3.

About two weeks ago, we added someone to the trip. So now it's four.

I had already received the Disney package and the ME tags before adding the fourth person. The Disney package included the ME vouchers for the original three people; the yellow tags came separately.

When I talked to the CM on the phone, I asked if we would get new yellow ME tags, and he said yes.

Well, we leave in six days, and I've not gotten yellow tags for the fourth person in our party.

PLUS, although I did get another package (with activities vouchers) from Disney, this package did NOT include new ME vouchers... for any of us.

Do I need to call ME and make sure we're all booked?

And, since I'm assuming it's too late to get the yellow tags and voucher for our fourth person, how do we handle that?

Thanks in advance!

Nicole

You will be fine, you do not need yellow tags to use ME. Just keep your baggage claim tickets from checking in and provide them to the ME representative at the airport.

As long as your reservation shows four guests, you will have transportation for four guests. The yellow tags are for luggage delivery to your resort. You can use the tags that were sent and if you have an extra tag, give that to the 4th guest. All the bags will go to the same room regardless of the name on the tags.

If you choose not to use the tags, just do as PP suggested and give the baggage claim tickets to the DME rep at MCO. They will track down your bags and make sure they are delivered to your resort.

Please note that if you arrive at MCO after 10pm, all guest must claim their own bags and carry them onto the DME bus.

The DME rep will also confirm transportation for your fourth registered guest.

Doesn't hurt to call... (407) 939-6244.

Thanks to you both!

Okay, so as long as my resort reservation shows four guests, we're good? I don't need to worry about having the transportation vouchers?

This is my main concern. I know we don't NEED the yellow luggage tags. I'm more concerned with not having the vouchers that they scan.

I do however have documentation from Disney showing four people on the reservation and it includes, in the itemized list of things included in the package, ME transportation.

So it sounds like we'll be okay?

Thanks!

Call DME, just to be sure they have the entire party listed in their system. If you don't have vouchers for each person, don't worry. You will have to go to the DME counter and they can make you a new one. Calling DME directly is just to make sure their system is correct..makes things go much more smoothly when you get there.
