I would say no, you have a little time. If you have the points, I would make the reservation and change it if needed.

No, not right away .. you'll have a little bit of time.. Studios will stay open for a lot longer during that period if you need a fall-back

???? I've rarely, if ever, seen Boardwalk view studios available after 1BR's. It's the other way around and OP will have more time since they would like a 1BR. That's typical at all resorts.
