:confused3 Do I need to do this package in order to get into Fantasmic show? I would love to try the Sci-Fi restaurant, but I dont want to wait an hour in line to view Fantasmic either. I have kids ages 2, 5 and 8. Lines are not our friends. What are the crowds like this time of year? Have any of you eaten else where and then did not have a long wait to see the show??

Any recommendations would be GREAT!!

We have never done the Fantasmic Dinner Package. We have never stood in line for Fantasmic, and have seen it at least 6-8 times. We go about 30-45 minutes before the show starts. Seating starts 45 minutes before the show. They used to have entertainers doing things down front, but I haven't seen that for several years.

Yes, we are waiting, but we are seated and you can bring stuff for the kids to do, get a snack, or whatever. Sitting and waiting beats standing in line.

If you want to walk in 10 minutes before the show and get a seat, you do need the package. The show is always full or nearly so.

The only thing the Fantasmic package does is reserve seating for you at the show. It also keeps you from having to stand in line to get a seat. The seats, howerver are no better than the ones you wait in line for. All of the seats are good for the show, and there plenty of them. There's no reason to get there too early and wait for an hour to get in.

Thank you for your replies. I just havent heard great things about H&V and am thrilled to know that it is not our only option.
