Do I need an ADR to do this?

Obviously, I'll ask the nice CM when I make my ressies, but offhand, does anyone know if I need an ADR to sit at the bar in a signature restaurant and have a glass of wine and an appetizer? Also, may DS14 sit with us, or do we need to make a table reservation for that? And how bad would it be to make a res, and just have that glass of wine and appetizer (mineral water/soda and appetizer in the case of DS, of course)?

I don't believe that you need reservations to sit at the bar....

As far as making a ressie and then ordering appetizer and glass of wine, I don't think they can tell you no...Not too sure though..:confused3

I'm pretty sure they can't/won't tell me no, but I'm a little self concious about it, and it seems finky to take that ADR from someone who wants dinner just so we can have a high-end snack.

I was particularily thinking of Narcoosee's or CG, especially CG, since DS LOVES sushi, and has been agitating to go.

CG often reaches capacity and you may find it hard to get up there to the bar without one if you are going there on a busy night. I would make the ADR and then request to be seated at the bar/lounge area when you arrive.

I would think you would be able to get into Narcoosees' lounge without one.
