Do I need ADR?

I tried to use the search function, but, I always have problems with it. Do we need ADR for every meal? Or just popular restaurants?

Yes, my wife and I went to WDW last year this time on the spur of the moment and ate fast food all week. It was horrible. The best advice I can give someone going to WDW is stay at one of the resorts and do your home work on the restraunts. Make your ADR's ASAP. If your looking foor a resevation during your stay I hear that guest services can be a big help. Stop by first thing in the morning check back miday, supposedly people cancel all the time and they're able to squeeze you in. check out my thread on this page to get great tips on resturaunts. We always make Adr's. Why take a chance. CS gets old real fast. You may be able to get into some restaurants, but it may be really early or really late. Or you could try and do your TS for lunch instead.

Yes, you should make an ADR for every table service meal. Make one for every day and you can always cancel if you change your mind.

We always make ADR's if we don't want them or want to change them once we are there we do & had no problems with doing so. We prefer sit down at lunch rather than dinner unless it not open during lunch

Sometimes you get lucky & get at ADR at the last minute while you are there but I wouldn't wait until I get at Disney & hope for ADR's. But no harm in wishing but sometimes wishes doesn't come true

SO, I called to make some ADR this morning. For The Crystal Palace they said they could put us at 2 tables and when we got there see if they can put the 2 together. Has anyone done this? It's me, DH, DS and my sister...I really don't want the risk of being split up.
