Do I need a current ressie for FD?

I am sort of confused. We decided we will go in September if we can get FD to save money and we have free flights that expire in September.

We have a ressie for November that I need to cancel...

Do I call and create a new ressie to try and get FD or do I have them modify my existing ressie?

You would be making a new reservation and then have them cancel the old one...since they are different dates.
