I'd like some opinions from my fellow Canadians. We're leaving Tuesday. The projected forecast is 79-80 during the day, high 50's in the evenings. If you were me , would you bring something warmer than a cotton hoodie?? Packing space is at a premium with our little one so if I don't have to I'd rather not. It sounds strange but I can't picture 60 degrees and what it would feel like walking around. I seem to have settled into the close to freezing temperatures we've been having! Any advice would be appreciated!

When we were there last December,we only had sweatshirts. The lows were hovering in the 40's(late night) and high 40's low 50's in mornings,we wore these with shorts(It was warm to us,LOL).I think you will be just fine.

Depends on the morning temps, I think. We have worn spring jackets in the 50s and 60s in the mornings and evenings in Orlando. We just wear ours on the plane so we dont have to pack them...planes are usually cool anyways.

Thanks guys. If a Manitoban needs a coat I know I'd better bring one;) I lived in Winnipeg for 7 years so I know all too well....

If you don't want to take a 'too' heavy coat then you can always do the layering thing. Or of course, there is the ' I need to buy another ' Mickey or ( put favourite character here) sweatshirt' to add to the layering process
I will be going in December and will be practising this method of keeping warm,;)
One suggestion is to bring a light pair of gloves as I find as long as one's hands are warm, the rest seems to follow.

Have a great time and don't worry about not getting to see and do everything this trip, its always a good excuse to go back.:hyper:

I used the layering method for our trip in January, with a sweater and a spring jacket. I believe I used the jacket a few times the first 2 days because it was raining, after that I didn't need them and was able to switch to shorts, etc.

However, when I got back to the airport, I was very very glad to have them both along as it was freeeeezing when we got off the plane and it would have been a very cold walk to the parking garage. :)

A lot depends on how you are to heat and cold. If you are the type of person who is always cold, then, yes, bring a jacket. It can get chilly when you are just standing waiting for Spectromagic or Fantasmic. We were down there for their Thanksgiving once, and I'm sure I had to wear everything I packed all at once, one day. A cold snap came through and it was very chilly. Mind you, in a day or two it was back to shorts. As has been already said, layers are good. If you can cram a jacket into a corner of the car, go for it. If you are flying, no problem. You will need it at the airport anyway, wear it on the plane, and you won't need to pack it.

A jacket is a good idea for November weather. The temperature really dips down in the evenings and as pampam suggested if you're going to watch Fantasmic you'll need it.
