Do I have to use a ticket to wander around downtown

Hi

DW and I are visiting WDW for the first time this September (57days woohoo!)

We are staying in the Grosvenor for the first night, then drving down to Miami and the Keys for a week and returning to The Grosvenor for the second week.

We have a 5 day hopper plus for the second week, but as we'll be in the Downtown area for the first afternoon / evening, can we wander around without using a ticket or do we need an extra days pass?

Hi Crim1978,

You can wander around anywhere in downtown (including Pleasure Island& Marketplace) without a ticket, it's just a general shopping/entertainment area.

If you want to enter any of the clubs in Pleasure Island then you need to buy a ticket unless your hopper covers entry.

Downtown Disney is wonderful. So many shops, restaurants etc. I am sure it would be a lovely way to spend your first evening in Florida!
